Back to Basics, NEPCA’s Introduction to the Concrete Industry

For the first time ever, NEPCA will be offering a half day basics course for those who are new to the industry and looking to expand their knowledge or practiced professionals looking to reinforce their foundational skills.

Space is limited but the course will be free to NEPCA members. All attendees are welcome and encouraged to attend the other events offered as a part of the Annual Winter Meeting. Courses include “Welcome and Why Concrete?” by Hugh Scott, Shea Concrete Products, “Basic Concrete Materials and Precast Applications”, with Brad Chinery, NPCA, and “Placing/Finishing Concrete, Including Hot/Cold Weather Practices”, by Kayla Hanson, Concrete Sealants, Inc.

Please join NEPCA once again for our annual winter meeting! We will start the day with an update from our board of directors to learn about how NEPCA is hoping to expand its benefits. As well as welcoming new members to the team!

Featured topics for this session will include box culvert sealing solutions, a update on national legislation as it pertains to Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) and Global Warming Potential (GWPS). As well as, a motivational talk on joining the 9%, what that means, and what each of us can do to ensure we are successful all year long.

Breakfast, Lunch, and Raffles will be offered.
