About Wiggin Means Precast Co. Inc.

Means Precast is a family owned and operated precast company. Purchased in 1972 by Artilio and Julia Ricciardi, Means Precast has been steadily growing over the past 49 years. Although the company was primarily making septic tanks at the beginning, Archie found his niche producing and installing precast steps.

In the 1980’s, his sons Mark and Brian took the reins and began growing the business. In 1988 they introduced precast bulkheads into their product line. When the recession hit in the late 1980’s and the construction industry was at a stand still, they began manufacturing burial vaults.

The first expansion of the company came in 1995 with the acquisition of Lee Burial Vault in Dighton, Ma, which they renamed Precast Vault Company. The next acquisition was Wiggin Precast in Pocasset, Ma in 2012, which was renamed Wiggin Means Precast. In 2019 the expansion continued with a 10,000 sq ft addition added onto the existing production building as well as the addition of 3 new cranes, a planetary mixer, and a second silo for more cement storage.

Today, Wiggin Means Precast with their dedicated employees, continually strive to improve processes and quality of their products. In addition to Mark and Brian, Archie’s grandsons Rob, Cam and Nick are also valuable employees within the company and along with their fathers, push for the continual growth and development of the company.
